Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Videshi Daru Esports ("VDE", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Our Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected, and forms part of these terms. Your use of the platform is also subject to our Refund Policy where it applies.

2. Eligibility

• You must provide accurate account information when you register.
• The platform is intended for users who are eligible under applicable law to register and participate in esports tournaments.
• The platform does not currently implement age-verification or parental-consent flows. If you are not eligible to participate under applicable law, please do not use the platform.

3. Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for your account and for the activity that occurs under it.
• Your password is stored only in hashed form, but you are still responsible for keeping it confidential and not sharing it with anyone.
• Your email address must be verified before your account is activated and before you can join paid tournaments.
• You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, subject to the data-retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Username, Profile, and Game UID Accuracy

• Usernames must be between 3 and 20 characters and may contain only letters, numbers, and underscores.
• You must provide a valid gaming ID (UID) for the games you play. A game UID for the relevant game is required before you can join a tournament for that game.
• Your game and UID are recorded when you join a tournament, and that record reflects what was in your profile at the time of joining.
• Providing false, misleading, or borrowed gaming IDs may result in removal from tournaments, rejection of payouts, or account restrictions.

5. Tournaments and Participation Rules

• Tournaments support the games listed on the platform (currently BGMI and Free Fire MAX).
• Registration is open only while a tournament is accepting participants and has available slots.
• You may join a tournament once; duplicate registrations are rejected.
• Tournament room details are shared only with registered participants and only after the room is released for the tournament.
• Tournament rules set by the platform must be followed at all times.

6. Solo, Duo, and Squad Team Rules

• Solo tournaments do not require a team. Duo tournaments require a Duo team, and Squad tournaments require a Squad team.
• Duo teams have a capacity of 2 players and Squad teams have a capacity of 4 players.
• A team can only participate in a tournament that matches the team's game and type.
• You may only join a Duo or Squad tournament with a team you are a member of.
• Teams are managed by their captain. Membership and team records are handled through the team features on the platform.

7. Entry Fees and Wallet Usage

• Entry fees for paid tournaments are deducted from your platform wallet when you join.
• You must have sufficient wallet balance to join a paid tournament; otherwise the join is rejected.
• Entry-fee payments and related transactions are recorded in your wallet transaction history.
• Wallet balances are subject to the deposit, withdrawal, and refund rules described in these terms and our Refund Policy.

8. UPI, Payment Proof, and UTR Requirements

• Deposits are made through UPI and require a valid UPI transaction reference (UTR) and a payment screenshot.
• Deposits are verified manually by administrators before funds are credited to your wallet.
• Incorrect, duplicate, or fraudulent payment submissions may be rejected.
• Withdrawals require valid UPI details and are subject to manual review and approval.
• Processing times may vary depending on verification requirements.

9. Tournament Cancellation and Refunds

• Administrators may cancel a tournament before it is completed, with a reason.
• When a tournament is cancelled, paid participants receive a refund of their entry fee credited to their wallet, and are notified.
• Completed tournaments cannot be cancelled, and refunds are not part of the standard flow for completed tournaments.
• Refunds are processed through the platform's refund flow; any decision to refund outside that flow is a discretionary administrative action.

10. Winners, Prize Declaration, and Payout

• Winners are declared only for tournaments that have been completed.
• Only participants who paid the required entry fee are eligible for prize payouts.
• Prizes are drawn from the tournament's prize pool, and the total prizes declared for a tournament can never exceed its prize pool.
• Declared prizes are credited to the winner's wallet as prize payments when the payout is processed.
• Prize declaration and payout are handled by administrators through the platform's winner and payout flows.

11. Prohibited, Fraudulent, and Abusive Behavior

• Cheating, hacking, scripting, teaming in inappropriate modes, or exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities is prohibited.
• Submitting fake, duplicate, or misleading payment proofs, or attempting to bypass payment verification, is prohibited.
• Impersonation and fraudulent activity are prohibited.
• Abusive language, offensive names, and disruptive behavior toward other players are prohibited.
• Referring yourself, or otherwise attempting to abuse the referral and reward program, is prohibited.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

• Users may be suspended, banned, or have their accounts restricted for violating these terms or engaging in fraudulent or abusive activity.
• Banned users cannot join tournaments or use the platform's features.
• Suspension, banning, and other enforcement actions are discretionary administrative actions, decided on a case-by-case basis by administrators.
• You may delete your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy; deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

13. Reports and Community Enforcement

• You can report other players for cheating, hacking, abusive language, offensive names, and other prohibited behavior, with a description and any supporting evidence.
• Reports are reviewed by administrators and may result in warnings, restrictions, or bans.
• Enforcement outcomes are discretionary and based on the platform's review of the report.

14. Referrals and Rewards

• The referral program lets you invite other users using your referral code.
• Referral rewards are earned only when the qualification rules are met, including the referred user's first approved deposit meeting a minimum amount.
• Referral rules, reward amounts, minimum deposits, and limits are configurable by administrators and may change at any time.
• Self-referral and other attempts to abuse the referral program are prohibited.

15. Platform and Service Availability

• The platform depends on game servers, internet connectivity, and third-party services that are outside our control.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
• VDE is not responsible for losses resulting from game server outages, internet failures, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances beyond our control.

16. Intellectual Property and Content

The VDE name, branding, and platform content are owned by Videshi Daru Esports or its licensors. By submitting content to the platform, such as payment screenshots or report evidence, you confirm that you have the right to provide it, and you permit us to process it as described in our Privacy Policy.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VDE and its administrators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, participation in tournaments, or reliance on these terms.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
